Why Is My Business Buried on Google?

You know your business is good.

Your customers know it too.

But Google?

Google doesn't seem to have gotten the memo.

You search for the service you provide in your own city and start scrolling.

Competitor.

Competitor.

Another competitor.

You keep going.

Still nothing.

Eventually you find your business buried somewhere most customers are never going to look.

If you've ever wondered "why is my business buried on Google," that's more than an annoying ranking problem.

It could be costing you customers every single day.

Your Customers Aren't Going to Keep Looking for You

Think about the last time you searched for a local business.

Maybe you needed a plumber, restaurant, mechanic, or electrician.

How far did you really look?

Probably not very far.

You looked at the businesses Google put in front of you.

You checked a couple reviews.

Maybe visited a website.

Then you made a decision.

Your customers aren't any different.

They're not searching page after page hoping they'll eventually stumble across the best company.

They're choosing from the businesses they can actually find.

That's what makes being buried on Google so expensive.

You can have hundreds of happy customers.

You can have twenty years of experience.

You can do better work than every company showing up above you.

But the customer who never finds you doesn't know any of that.

They just call somebody else.

Being Buried on Google Is a Problem You Can't See

This is the part that really bothers me.

When somebody calls your business and you don't close them, at least you know you lost an opportunity.

Maybe your price was too high.

Maybe they went with somebody else.

Maybe you just weren't the right fit.

You can learn from that.

Google is different.

If 20 people search for your service this week and your business is nowhere near the top, you may never know those opportunities existed.

There's no missed call.

There's no email.

There's no lead to follow up with.

Nothing happens.

Meanwhile, one of the businesses sitting above you gets another phone call.

Then another.

Then another.

Do that for six months and we're not talking about moving a few spots on a search page anymore.

We're talking about real money.

Why Your Business Is Buried on Google

There usually isn't one magic reason.

Maybe your Google Business Profile hasn't had much attention.

Maybe competitors have stronger reviews.

Maybe your website isn't giving Google enough information about what you do and where you do it.

Maybe your business information isn't consistent online.

Usually it's a combination of things.

You could absolutely spend your Monday night trying to figure all of that out yourself.

But that's probably not the best use of your time.

You've got customers to take care of.

Employees to manage.

Estimates to send.

Jobs to finish.

You shouldn't have to become a Google expert too.

I'll Help Get Your Business Found

That's where I come in.

I help local business owners figure out why they're being buried on Google and then handle the work of improving it.

I'll look at what happens when someone searches for your services.

I'll look at who's showing up ahead of you.

I'll look at what they're doing that Google likes and where your business is falling behind.

Then I'll build a plan to close the gap and handle the ongoing work.

You don't need another marketing project sitting on your desk.

You need somebody to own the problem.

That's what I want to do for you.

You keep running the business.

I'll work on making sure more of the people looking for what you sell can actually find it.

So if you've searched for your own company lately and wondered "why is my business buried on Google," let's stop guessing.

I'll take a look and show you what I see.

Grab a time with me directly on my calendar or head to our website, click Home, then click Yes, I Want That to get started.

If your business is buried on Google, local customers may be finding and calling your competitors before they ever discover you.
