Too Busy to Market Your Business? I Know the Feeling.

Well, I've been a little quiet lately.
Between working as a flight paramedic, an uptick in client work, and life in general, I've been too busy to market my business the way I should.
Yep. The guy who helps businesses get found on Google has been neglecting his own marketing.
There's some irony in that.
But it's also been a pretty good reminder of something I see with business owners all the time.
Sometimes you're so busy doing the work that pays the bills that you forget to make time for the work that brings in the next customer.
And that's a problem.
Being Too Busy to Market Your Business Happens Faster Than You Think
Here's how it goes.
You start Monday with every intention of getting some marketing done.
Maybe you need to update your Google Business Profile, make a few changes to your website, or reach out to some potential customers.
Then Monday happens.
A customer needs something. A job takes longer than expected. Something comes up at home.
By the time you finally sit down that evening, the last thing you want to do is open your laptop and start working again.
So you tell yourself you'll get to it tomorrow.
Tomorrow turns into next week.
Next week turns into next month.
And the marketing?
Still sitting there.
Believe me, I get it. I've been living it.
The Customers You're Missing Don't Know You're Busy
Here's where putting marketing off starts getting expensive.
Just because you're busy doesn't mean people have stopped searching for what you sell.
Someone still needs a plumber, electrician, contractor, or accountant.
And when they need one, there's a pretty good chance they're going to Google.
The question is whether they're finding you.
While you're busy taking care of today's customers, your competitors could be getting in front of tomorrow's.
They're showing up in searches, collecting reviews, and giving potential customers reasons to call.
Meanwhile, your business might be doing incredible work, but fewer people are finding it.
You can be working harder than ever and still be missing opportunities to grow.
That's the part business owners can't afford to ignore.
I'll Handle Your Marketing So You Can Handle Your Business
This is exactly why I do what I do.
I help local business owners get found on Google without having to spend their evenings and weekends figuring it out themselves.
I'll look at where your business is showing up, who's getting found ahead of you, and what's keeping potential customers from finding you.
Then I'll handle the work of improving it.
Your Google Business Profile, website, reviews, and local search visibility all need attention.
But that attention doesn't necessarily have to come from you.
You don't need another thing on your list. You need someone to take something off it.
I've gotten a pretty good reminder of that lately.
And if you've found yourself in the same position, I'd be happy to help.
You focus on your customers, employees, and running the business.
I'll focus on helping more people find it.
If your marketing has been sitting on the back burner, let's talk.
